MPI Oilfield adheres to the highest levels of employee health and safety awareness, with programs and policies that are constantly evolving together with industry best practices and changes in government policy. In many cases, our HSE programs exceed and supersede those of our clients, and we are fully compliant with Department of National Defense safety regulations for work on the Cold Lake Air Weapons Range.
We have received a Certificate of Recognition from Enform and are a member in good standing with ISNetworld, Complyworks and Avetta. Through our new employee orientations, mentoring and continuing education, we deliver tools to help keep workers informed and knowledgeable on safety.
Monthly general safety meetings are held to review safety statistics, safety observations, recent incidents, lessons learned from incidents and any present safety concerns. In addition, daily tailgate meetings are held on each job site for review of daily activities, safety hazards, policies and any concerns before starting the work day. Comprehensive safety training is provided to employees and includes programs such as Basic First Aid, CPR, WHIMIS, H2S Alive, CSTS and Ground Disturbance.
